Summer Information

I will be available for tuning and string repairs all summer. We can do via Zoom if still under quarantine, or meet in person as is allowed.

Usually, I have tons of information regarding summer string camps. Most of those camps are cancelled this year. Some have gone virtual (the Butler Bass camp has), and you can find some info online for those.

But! There are still opportunities to continue playing!

  • Take summer lessons! Many teachers are offering virtual lessons this summer, and some even have extended availability due to the situation!
    • You can contact a teacher from this list on this website – see the Forms & Files page.
    • Contact me directly for ideas or suggestions
  • Find new and fun music to play!
    • Check out JW Pepper for books of pop music, movie music, and more.
    • If you use google: use keywords like easy, beginning, sheet music, free, and the name of your instruments. Know that a lot of what you are looking for is still under copyright law, and so will cost a few dollars. Artists deserve to be paid, too.
  • Really love orchestra? Audition for the Indianapolis Youth Orchestra for next year!
    • The premiere youth symphony in the Indy area!
    • Three orchestras…one conducted by me!
    • More music, more fun! Perform on stage at Hilbert Circle Theater.
    • You can find audition information here: www.indianapolisyouthorchestra.org
    • Contact me with any questions!

Please let me know how I can be of more assistance! Keep playing this summer!!
