We now have our final time schedule for ISSMA Organizational Contest. ALL GROUPS PERFORM ON FRIDAY, MARCH 15th! And excitingly, we are hosting ISSMA at Riverside – no need to travel to another school!
Timeline for FRIDAY, MARCH 15th
4:00 pm – CONCERT STAY AFTER SCHOOL – must have concert uniform!
4:30 pm – CONCERT Orchestra warm-up
5:00 pm – CONCERT Orchestra performance in Hawk Hall
5:30 pm – SYMPHONY Orchestra arrival, report to Orchestra Room
5:45 pm – SYMPHONY Orchestra warm-up
6:15 pm – SYMPHONY Orchestra performance in Hawk Hall
9:00 pm – PHILHARMONIC Orchestra arrival, report to Orchestra Room
9:15 pm – PHILHARMONIC Orchestra warm-up
9:45 pm – PHILHARMONIC Orchestra performance in Hawk Hall
Students need to enter through Door 5, the Main Entrance, and report to the Orchestra Room. Please plan ahead and leave ample time for students to arrive on time or early; students absolutely CANNOT be late. If you need transportation help for your student, please let me know and I will help you. Symphony and Philharmonic students should arrive in uniform. Students will also be welcome to leave once their orchestra finishes. (Or they can also stay and hear other performances!) Cellos and basses may bring their home instruments, or may use a school one.
Families are welcome to attend the performances, and should enter Door 3 (like all our other concerts). Note that if you arrive after a group starts, you will not be allowed in until after the end of the group’s performance.
And don’t forget, our ISSMA Preview Concert is on Wednesday, March 6th, at Riverside. Student arrival is 6:30pm, the concert will begin at 7:00pm.
